Leading online travel agency releases data showing a record-breaking 47-million passengers will be flying this year for the holidays, a 4 percent increase compared to 2014

Florida is the most popular state for domestic travel, with Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa maintaining three positions on the list. The average round-trip domestic airfare this year is $423, with the lowest fares available to cities such as Chicago, Las Vegas, Denver and New York City area.
