Chief Commercial Officer, Fareportal

 

Subodh Karnik has joined as our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Subodh will have responsibility for Supplier Relations, Operations, as well as Corporate Development . "Corporate Development" is a group of activities that include Business Planning, including acquisitions and internal expansion, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance, and Performance Analysis - with a focus on operational process improvements as we continue our explosive growth.

 

Subodh is an aviation industry veteran. His last airline responsibility was at Air Jamaica - where he was the Chief Commercial Officer and part of the team that restructured and privatized the airline. Before that he was the CEO of Global Aviation Holdings - the parent company of ATA Airlines, World Airways, and North American Airlines. He has been the Senior Vice President-Planning at Delta, CFO of Continental Micronesia, and has held Director level positions in Sales, Revenue Management, and Alliances at Northwest Airlines.

 

Subodh will be based in New York.
