Hybrid travel agency first to offer travelers the option to book Iberia’s Economy XL and preferred Economy Standard seats, as well as additional baggage on its site

April 13, 2015 — CheapOair, a leading hybrid (online/traditional) travel agency, announced today that it is the first global distribution partner offering Iberia’s Economy XL and preferred Economy Standard seats, as well as baggage on its booking site.

Travelers booking Iberia flights on CheapOair will be able to purchase Economy XL seats, which are located at the aircraft emergency exits and give travelers more space for enhanced comfort. Moreover, those travelers whose tickets do not allow them to choose complimentary seating in Economy Standard, will be able to choose specific seats during the booking process at an extra charge. All travelers will also be able to purchase additional baggage, beyond the standard baggage allowances.

“We are delighted that CheapOair can offer our wide range of products, such as seating and additional baggage, to their customers during the booking process of any of our 102 weekly flights between Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Spain,” said Ángel Valdemoros, Iberia’s head of Sales in North America.

“CheapOair has always strived to make booking the perfect trip effortless, affordable and enjoyable,” said Sam S.
