Fareportal, an online technology company that provides web-based portals and management tools for the travel industry and parent to CheapOair.com (www.cheapoair.com), a leading online travel booking site, announces today that veteran travel attorney, Ed Faberman, has joined the company as an advisory board member.

As a seasoned travel and transportation authority, Faberman brings his strong background in both areas, which will further strengthen Fareportal’s standing in the travel industry.

Currently, Faberman is a partner at Wiley Rein LLP where he represents a variety of aviation clients including low-fare airlines, startup carriers, airports, airport security companies, and more. By representing these types of parties before U.S. government organizations such as the U.S. Departments of Transportation (DOT), Justice

(DOJ), State (DOS) and Homeland Security (DHS), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Faberman’s extent of knowledge goes far beyond the basics of aviation and travel. His focus is on expanding opportunities for carriers, airport authorities and communities.

“We could not be more pleased to have Faberman join the company as an advisory board member,” said Sam Jain, CEO and Founder of Fareportal. “He brings to Fareportal a unique combination of deep experience in both the travel and airline industry. With Ed’s experience, we can truly capitalize on the foundation that Fareportal has built.”

Faberman also sits on the board of Air Carrier Association of America and the American University Alumni Association. He also belongs to and speaks at events hosted by the American Association of Airport Executives and the Airport Council International.
