Role Description
Fareportal is the second largest U.S. seller of airline tickets with over $4 billion in gross revenue. The most well-known brand of Fareportal is CheapOair with over annual 100 million online visitors.
The Digital team at Fareportal is responsible for building seamless customer experiences that help customers quickly and easily discover and book flights and purchase related travel products. We strive to present complex travel information in an easily understandable manner, offer personalized flight options, ancillary products and associated travel information that serve individual needs.

We are looking to hire a Director of Product, Mobile Apps to scale our mobile apps and fuel our growth strategy. You will be responsible for leading the creation of best-in-class mobile app experiences, develop and socialize the apps growth vision and roadmap, with strong data backing, and lead the teams executing on the apps product strategy. You will deliver on a major strategic shift for the company that secures sustainable competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop comprehensive mobile apps product strategy that aligns with our broader company strategy and vision.
• Develop and execute annual and quarterly roadmaps based on a strategic vision, market trends, customer feedback, and analytics in the travel products space.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities within the mobile apps and broader mobile devices landscape.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative analytics to validate hypothesis, launch products, features, experiences, tailored recommendations per individual preferences.
• Build app exclusive features and benefits, personalized experiences, and best-in-class customer experience to increase lifetime value (LTV).
• Develop financial models to forecast business impact for apps growth, feature launches, product improvements.
• Work closely with marketing team towards product positioning, go-to-market planning and compelling messaging, highlighting benefits to boost app downloads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups including product, UX, design, data, engineering, finance, legal, marketing, operations, infosec etc. to execute plans.
• Leverage our loyalty program growth strategies to expand mobile apps value.
• Own the entire product development process from ideation to launch, optimizations.
• Lead, mentor and grow teams, fostering a culture of creating value for customers and business impact as an outcome.
• Own the agile product development process from start to finish, ensuring epics, features and user stories are well defined in advance of sprints.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, technology or a related field, MBA preferred.
• A track record of 10+ years of product management experience in managing high volume B2C mobile apps. Travel and ecommerce products experience preferred.
• Strong strategic, product thinker with customer centric mindset, business intelligence, financial modeling, data analytics, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of mobile apps technical underpinnings and opportunities to build innovative, delightful customer experiences.
• Experience performing end-to-end mobile product development activities, including product market fit, value proposition, business impact modeling, GTM planning, launch, and product growth activities.
• Strong data driven prioritization abilities while successfully calibrating and influencing cross-functional priorities towards broader company growth.
• Strong hands-on experience with A/B testing, data-driven storytelling and decision-making.
• Extensive experience with digital product analytics and business reporting tools like Google Analytics, Firebase, Branch, PowerBI, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels including executive leadership.
