Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Implement and operate security solutions (DLP, Email Security, Secure Web Gateway, CASB, EDR, SIEM, IAM, DAM, PIM/PAM – CyberArk, app whitelisting, and endpoint security)
- Monitor networks and computer systems for security breaches, through use of software that detect intrusions, anomalous system behaviour, and unauthorized network-attached devices.
- Assist in security event/incident investigations on detected alerts
- Plans and participates in cyber security improvement projects for the purpose of maintaining a mature security program for the organisation.
- Engineer the solutions (processes, technologies) to mitigate the control gaps.
- Conduct POC of new security products/tools and recommend alignment and use of these in the organisation
- Provide guidance, insights or direction on technological and cyber security related topics
- Developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical and project plans
Required Skills:
- CISSP or CISM certification. Other relevant security certifications will be considered such as GIAC, GCIH, CEH, CSA+ certifications;
- Proven experience in day-to-day operational processes such as security monitoring, data correlation, troubleshooting, security operations etc;
- Hands-on knowledge on at-least three cyber-security tools
- Should have at least some experience with firewalls, routers, intrusion detection systems and intrusion prevention systems.
- Experience of working on O365 security, PKI, Azure/AWS security is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough and accurate;
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
- Good communication and persuasive skills
- Work independently
Qualifications:
- BS/MS/BE/BTech/MBA in technology-related or information security curriculum
- Required 6-8 years of relevant experience in information security domain
